Welcome to the Canterbury Association for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (CAMEMS)

CAMEMS is a charity that exists to support scholarship in medieval and early modern studies, including the funding of postgraduate research, academic collaboration, and the dissemination of knowledge through lectures and events. By becoming a Friend of CAMEMS, you are making a voluntary contribution to this work. Your support directly enables scholarships, research activity, and the continued development of our academic community.

In future, CAMEMS aims to provide financial support for doctoral students.
