Small Grants for MEMS Doctoral Students
Details of the CAMEMS small grants for MEMS doctoral students have been announced.
PhD students can apply for up to £800 to attend an academic conference or specialist training event linked to their research, with preference given to those presenting a paper. Funding can be sought to cover the following items: the delegate’s fee, accommodation for the duration of the conference/event, and travel to and from the conference/event.
The deadlines for applications are 30 November and 30 April, with applicants notified of the result within one calendar month. Postgraduate students can only receive one grant in any academic year, but can then apply again in the following year. The money will be paid by BACS to the postgraduate once receipts (scanned copies) have been sent to the CAMEMS treasurer.
